I know some of my viewers are [distraught] due to the influx of Teixeira, he’s one of my favorite models. He has the power to exude the passionate, flamboyant, metro masculine, side of life and i enjoy every day of it.
[These images are from this Spring/Summer 2012 issue of Mister Muse Magazine and I must say Marlon murdered!]

I love seeing my favorite soles on sartorialist sites. These S/S Prada soles are quickly rising to the top of my “eccentric essential list”. Priced at 650.00USD over at Saks, they may stay on list for a little while longer. For now I’ll just visually indulge.
[P.S. I’ve been searching for the full ensemble for quite some time now. I hope it surfaces soon!]

Fashion is the evoking of a fantasy. Whether the fantasy is negative or positive it should still be present.
Designers like Galliano, Browne, Beirendonck, Lagerfeld etc. are masters at eliciting certain fantasies. For example: Beirendoncks “oversized forms made out of tufts” creates this child-like, candy craving, fantasty that is quite effective when paired with the 1950’s theme.
Bravo, Beirendonck! Bravo!

I blogged Belgian designer, Walter Van Beirendoncks S/S 2012 collection previously, so I resurfaced his designs to reiterate my “softer side of summer” thoughts.
I think the angelic simplicity of soft pastels are essential this season. The colors in Beirendonck Collection [below] are crisp and soft on the eyes. I believe every gentlemen should exude effortless style and Beirendonck accomplished just that with the grace of his 1950’s ensembles.
[P.S. Walter Van Beirendonck is my new favorite designer.]

Color blocking with vibrant hues was the previous S/S 2011 craze. This season I’m forecasting a softer side of summer. Neutral color blocking. Light pastels paried with crisp white sport coats. This go round -for me atleast- will be a little more conservative.

[Lets hit the course!]
The new Prada saddle wingtip shoe for the 2012 spring/summer season doesn’t quite top the brogues from last season, but they are definitely one of my favorites!
[This multi colored saddle brogue is priced at 650.00 USD over at Saks.]

Impromptu.
“I chose to arrive barring flowers, drenched in an ensemble of my own making. Heart pounding, arms shaking. You understood the immensity of my feelings, as poured them endlessly into the palm of your hand. -ChenierShinyey”
